James' Testimony

I was thirty-nine years old when I accepted Jesus Christ as my Saviour and King. Even though I was not raised up in the church I always knew about the Lord. My wife and son attended church and belonged to the Lord and with their help and God's I finally had the courage and strength to give my life over to Him. Looking back, I have wondered why I didn't accept the Lord earlier because now it seems so easy and the right thing to do. In different periods of my live I now know God helped me with drinking and bad influences of friends and peers.

The years I have known Jesus as Lord and Saviour have not always been filled with happiness. I have been through a lot of trials and hard times like being out of work and having a major truck accident leaving me toubled in mind, body and spirit. But I thank God for His word, His Son, and His Spirit. My Lord has given me hope, love and strength to keep going and learning about Him because I need Him more than ever before. I thank Him for my wife and son and my brothers and sisters in Christ.

Sometimes life can be a struggle, but we have to hold on to the promises of God. Never give up and don't quit trusting the Lord Jesus Christ because He's always there for us. Remember the foot prints in the sand.
